5/10 at 2:38 p.m. Derek Howes, 26, of Augusta, was arrested on Allen Avenue Extension by Officer Kurt Fegan on a charge of operating after license was suspended or revoked.

5/11 at 11:30 a.m. Adam Chiaccio, 21, of Fryeburg, was arrested on Andrews Avenue by Lt. John Kilbride on charges of failing to give the correct name, address or date of birth, operating after license was suspended and violating the conditions of release.

5/11 at 11:31 p.m. Randall Harford, 45, of Middle Road, was arrested by Officer Dan Austin on a charge of assault.

Painted stones

5/7 at 8:02 p.m. A caller reported several acts of vandalism around the Pleasant Hill Road area. Someone had reportedly marked several rocks with bright, orange spray paint.

How votes

5/10 at 9:48 a.m. A caller reported that after spending hours out working on her garden, a worker for one of the gubernatorial candidates allegedly trespassed across her property and destroyed a bunch of her flowers while placing campaign signs in her garden. Police told her to call the candidate’s campaign office.

Knight to Route 1

5/11 at 10:21 a.m. Police responded to several suspicious person complaints on and around Route 1 for two days, all for one man who was reportedly living out of his car while he waited to get a flat tire repaired. The man was allegedly using gas station bathrooms to wash and shave, and was allegedly found dumpster diving for food. He reportedly told police he was headed to Bangor for a chess match.
