2/19 at 11:14 p.m. Steven J. Haines, 40, of Brenwood Street, Portland, was arrested on Allen Avenue by Sgt. Kevin Conger on a charge of operating under the influence.

2/24 at 3:37 a.m. Jason R. Hanley, 40, of Trolly Farm Way, was arrested on Trolly Farm Way by Officer Kerry Warner on a charge of violating conditions of release.

2/25 at 12:15 p.m. Zackery J. Williams, 25, of Winn Road, was arrested on Gray Road by Chief Edward Tolan, Sgt. Frank Soule and officers Dan Austin and Steven Townsend, on charges of aggravated criminal mischief and refusing to submit to arrest or detention.

2/18 at 4:55 p.m. Melissa L. McVay, 30, of Braintree, Mass., was issued a summons on Gray Road by Sgt. Kevin Conger on charges of sale/use of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

2/19 at 9:08 p.m. Tina M. Zerbst, 37, of Depot Road, Gray, was issued a summons on Falmouth Road by Sgt. George Savidge on a charge of operating when a license was suspended or revoked.

2/21 at 12:26 p.m. Khald I. Mazal, 47, of Middle Road, was issued a summons on Ledgewood Drive by Officer Steven Townsend on a charge of attaching false plates.

2/22 at 4:27 p.m. Angela M. Davis, 33, of East Bridge Street, Westbrook, was issued a summons on Falmouth Road by Officer Phillip Hatch on a charge of operating after a license was suspended.

Eco-nomically savvy

2/18 at 12:59 p.m. An officer stopped to investigate a car pulled to the side of Woods Road and spoke to the driver, who reportedly told the officer that he was picking up litter, specifically two beer bottles because he couldn’t see throwing 10 cents away.

Ticket turns to temper tantrum

2/23 at 12:13 p.m. A woman who was issued a ticket for speeding on Allen Avenue Extension reportedly began to throw a temper tantrum in her car. The issuing officer kept an eye on her as the woman allegedly pulled over again further down the road, and was crying and throwing objects in her car. Eventually, police said she moved along.

Dunkin’ go nuts

2/23 at 5:09 p.m. A Dunkin’ Donuts employee called police to report that a disgruntled customer had threatened her after he became upset over an order. The man was gone when police arrived.
