Arrests

6/19 at 2:13 a.m. Sarah Desormiers, 31, of Portland, was arrested on Falmouth Road by Officer Kurt Fegan on a charge of operating under the influence.

6/21 at 10:13 p.m.  Soong Won Lee, 51, of Innkeepers Lane, was arrested on Mountain Road by Officer Kurt Fegan on a charge of operating while license suspended or revoked.

There were no summonses reported from June 18- June 25.

Tack-ful Situation

6/18 at 2:04 p.m. Police responded to a call from a group of bicyclists on Mountain Road after the cyclists reportedly drove over a pile of tacks someone had placed on the road. Ten cyclists’ tires were reportedly deflated. Police believe there are tensions in the area between the cyclists, who ride regularly as a large group, and motorists who are frustrated by the group.

Not so sweet

6/19 at 1:58 p.m. A Ricetta’s employee called police after allegedly discovering sugar had been poured into the gas tank of the complainant’s car in the parking lot. The car was not ruined, but will require some tune-ups.

Short joyride

6/23 at 12:09 a.m. Police responded to the report of a stolen motor vehicle on Middle Road. The car’s owner reportedly told police her boyfriend asked the borrow the car, but then never returned it. The vehicle was located parked legally in Portland approximately 15 hours later.
