6/17 at 2:36 p.m. Shane Boilard, 33, of Arundel, was arrested on Gray Road by Officer Steve Stubbs on a warrant for another agency.
6/17 at 2:45 p.m. Susan Jones, 44, of Hadlock Road, was arrested on Gray Road by Officer Steve Stubbs on a charge of a probation violation.
Summonses
There were no summonses reported from June 11 through June 17.
Crisis of conscience?
6/13 at 1:23 p.m. Police responded to a call from Shaw’s Supermarket, where two white males allegedly took a purse left accidentally in a shopping cart in the parking lot. The two men reportedly took the purse into the store’s restroom, dumped out the contents and took the money out of the wallet. According to police, the men were overheard saying they were going to spend the money at Wal-Mart. However, shortly after leaving for Wal-Mart, the two men reportedly returned to the men’s room, put the money back in the purse and left the premises. Police were able to return the purse to its rightful owner, who was having lunch at a restaurant nearby. She reportedly told police nothing was missing.
Partying at Plummer Motz
6/18 at 2:13 a.m. Police reportedly discovered a dozen teenagers hanging out behind Plummer Motz School. Two of the teens had allegedly climbed up onto the roof of the school and were throwing fireworks. According to reports, there was evidence the teens had been drinking. Police reportedly called their parents and the teens were taken home. One student was discovered later that evening, walking drunk along the road. Police gave him a ride home.
Correction
Timothy Prescott, 51, of Clearwater Drive in Falmouth, was wrongly listed in the June 17 Police Beat. Prescott was not charged with any crimes. Incorrect information was provided to The Forecaster.
