6/27 at 12:29 p.m. Tara Allen, 26, of Portland, was arrested on Middle Road by Officer Kurt Fegan on a warrant for another agency.

6/27 at 2:30 p.m. William DiBiase Jr., 47, of New Gloucester, was arrested on Allen Avenue Extension by Officer Kurt Fegan on a charge of burglary.

7/1 at 3:30 a.m. Paul Lambert, 26, of Harpswell, was arrested at Waldo’s General Store by Officer Steve Townsend on a charge of violating conditions of release.

7/1 at 9:07 a.m. Anthony Grasruck, 23, of Livermore Falls, was arrested on Bucknam Road by Officer Kurt Fegan on a charge of operating while a license was suspended or revoked and  a warrant for another agency.

6/25 at 9:35 p.m. A 17-year-old female was summonsed on Middle Road on a charge of operating with a suspended registration.

6/26 at 3:26 p.m. Tannis Goodson, 21, of Peaks Island, was summonsed on Portland Harbor by Harbormaster Alan Twombley on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Early morning drunken mail-sorting

6/27 at 1:39 a.m. A caller reported a strange man on Blackstrap Road going through the caller’s mailbox, apparently intoxicated. When officers arrived, they reportedly discovered the man was indeed intoxicated and walking to his brother’s home in Windham. The officers reportedly drove the man home.

Squirrely call

6/28 at 7:29 p.m. Police responded to a caller reporting a squirrel with its foot stuck in a birdfeeder. The squirrel had reportedly freed itself by the time the officer arrived.

Seeing red

6/30 at 2:35 a.m. A caller reported arriving home and discovering the caller’s house, car and mailbox had been covered in red paint. Police believe it is a random act of vandalism and currently have no leads.

Burglars or campers?

7/1 at 10:25 p.m. A neighbor called police to report a burglary in progress on Meadow Lane. The caller reported seeing people at the residence with flashlights. The complainant had reportedly called the homeowners, who said no one was supposed to be there. Police responded and found three young people on the property. They then discovered that the homeowners’ son had given three friends permission to camp on the property without telling his parents. No charges were filed.
