7/3 at 2:39 p.m. Michael Sosnowski, 59, of Summer Place, Portland, was arrested on Woods Road by Officer Dennis Ryder on a charge of operating under the influence.

7/5 at 6:45 p.m. Griffen Kline, 23, of Seaside Way, was arrested on Town Landing Road by Officer Kurt Fegan on charges of assault, violating conditions of release and impersonating a public servant.

7/5 at 10:12 p.m. Christopher Brigham, 45, of Lambert Street, Portland, was arrested on the Maine Turnpike Spur by Officer Steve Crocker on a charge of operating under the influence.

7/5 at 10:34 p.m. John Donovan, 48, of Summit Street, Portland, was arrested on Gray Road by Officer Mike Brown on a charge of operating after habitual offender license revocation.

7/8 at 6:30 p.m. Beth Earley, 54, of North Street, Mechanic Falls, was arrested on Bucknam Road by Officer Dennis Ryder on a charge of operating under the influence.

7/8 at 11:45 p.m. Candy Dent, 42, of Middle Road, Cumberland, was arrested on Johnson Road by Officer Dennis Ryder on charges of operating under the influence and speeding 10 to 14 miles per hour over the speed limit.

Train in vain

7/2 at 7:41 p.m. Police responded to a call of suspicious activity on Blackstrap Road at Jordan Equipment Company. A caller reported seeing three cars in the area, with the subjects appearing to be sitting there and looking around. Upon making contact, police discovered the individuals were just waiting to watch a train pass through.
