1/5 at 6:30 p.m. David R. Sanborn Jr., 34, of Webbs Mills Road, Casco, was arrested on Auburn Street, Portland, by Sgt. Kevin Conger on charges of operating after license suspension and violating conditions of release.

1/6 at 1:11 p.m. Elizabeth A. Pierce, 26, of Bruce Hill Road, Cumberland, was issued a summons on Lunt Road by Officer Robert Ryder on a charge of operating with suspended registration.
Monster found in search of suspicious packages
1/9 at 4:14 p.m. Police responded to Winn Road after a resident found “suspicious packages” on the ground outside her home, said Lt. John Kilbride. Police identified the packages as an empty can of Monster Energy Drink and a tobacco pouch that were apparently discarded by a passerby.
