2/13 at 4:15 p.m. Thomas E. Mooney Jr., 21, of Gray, was arrested by Officer Kurt Feagan on Lunt Road on a charge of violating condition of release.

2/15 at 12:31 a.m. Heather J. Fogg, 22, of Portland, was arrested by Sgt. Frank H. Soule on Middle Road, on a charge of violating condition of release.

2/19 at 11:58 p.m. Steven M. Baumann, 39, of Allen Avenue Extension, was arrested on Falmouth Road on charges of operating under the influence, violating condition of release, and operating while license is suspended or revoked.

Strange beasts

2/15 at 9:14 a.m. A resident of Gray Road called police to report a strange animal in the house. The animal control officer helped the resident by bringing a Have-a-Heart trap to the house.

Mailbox mayhem

2/16 Police report an ongoing investigation of mailbox destruction along Blackstrap and Mountain roads. Police report a series of mailboxes have been smashed or blown up over several weekends between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. They say it is no longer a prank, patrols will focus their efforts in the area.

Worse than hockey moms?

2/21 Police report an altercation between a coach and a father at a third-grade girls basketball game, Sunday, Feb. 21. Police report basketballs and fists were thrown during an argument. As of now, there are no charges filed, but the situation is under investigation.
