12/3 at 2:38 p.m. Eduardo Cabrera, 48, address unknown, was arrested by Officer Al Twombley and charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.
Summonses
11/29 at 7:26 p.m. Joseph Tapley, 46, of Knight Hill Road, Falmouth, was summonsed by Officer Daniel Austin on a charge of operating with suspended registration.
12/1 at 6:09 p.m. Dale Leavitt, 51, of Casco Terrace, Falmouth, was summonsed by Officer Kevin Conger Jr. on a charge of criminal threatening.
Steak out
11/27 at 9:50 p.m. Police were called to a Longwoods Road resident’s home when his former supervisor from Steakhouse Steaks allegedly showed up with several friends and struck and pushed him. When officers arrived, all parties had left the scene. The victim chose not to files charges.
Terror at the terrace
12/1 at 6:09 p.m. A man was summonsed for criminal threatening after he allegedly pulled a knife on a victim at Casco Terrace. Police say after the victim slipped on kitty litter and fell down some stairs, Dale Leavitt, of Casco Terrace, allegedly brandished a knife in a threatening manner toward the victim and made a comment about the victim’s sexual orientation. According to police, although there are two sides to the story, they found enough probable cause to charge the suspect and the case may be referred to the attorney general’s office as a hate crime.
Out-foxed
12/2 at 2:12 p.m. Police were called to Sedgewick Commons retirement home on Northbrook Drive after a fox had chased an employee into the building. The chase happened after the fox had been observed burying a squirrel close to the building. When police arrived, the animal had left.
