Occupy Falmouth?

11/25 at 12:55 p.m. Police responded to a call from a neighbor reporting people camping behind Shaw’s Supermarket. Two males were located behind the building with tents and other items. The men reportedly told police they ended up in Falmouth because it was away from Portland, more wooded and on the bus route.

The buck stops here

11/26 at 7:35 a.m. A resident on Brook Road called police to report the neighbor’s dog dragged a skeletal deer carcass into her driveway and she didn’t know what to do with it. Police advised she bury it so the dog could not get at it again.

Calling card

11/28 at 11:15 a.m. An employee of a business on Middle Road called police to  report finding wet newspapers and a debit card on the floor when arriving that morning. The caller reported nothing was missing or damaged. Over the weekend, the State Police located the owner of the debit card in Lewiston. He allegedly told police he had been drinking in the Old Port with friends that evening, and thought he may have entered the lighting fixture store to use the phone. He reportedly said he laid down on the newspapers and fell asleep, then woke up in the morning and left. The business owners did not want to press charges, police said.
