12/20 at 2:50 a.m. Ismael Ben Clark, 46, of W. 78th Street, Los Angeles, Calif., was arrested by Sgt. Roger Maloney on a warrant.

Summonses

12/22 at 2:23 p.m. Gary Richard Pedrucci Jr., 19, of Pool Street, Biddeford, was summonsed by Officer Phillip Hatch on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

Men acting strangely

12/20 at 2:05 a.m. A Susan Lane resident called police to report there were two unfamiliar men in his house. He said both were in a room on the second floor and that one of them had the keys to his car and claimed to be his son. When police investigated, the men told them the victim had invited them. Officers took one of the men to the Oxford Street shelter and arrested the second, Ismael Ben Clark, of Los Angeles, on an outstanding warrant.

Management acting strangely

12/21 at 2:18 p.m. A woman called police from Peggy’s Hallmark on Route 1 to report someone was following her and her daughter. When officers arrived, they discovered the owner of Rainbow Toys had followed them from that store to Hallmark believing the two had shoplifted two MP3 players. The MP3 players were not where they belonged, however officers found them on a different rack at the toy store. The toy store owner was advised to call police rather than follow shoplifting suspects.

Woman acting strangely

12/23 at 8:21 a.m. Police received a call from the Town Landing Market reporting a strange-acting woman. Appearing heavily intoxicated, she walked into the store and left her keys with the owner, saying she decided that she shouldn’t be driving. She then walked to Town Landing, where officers located her. The officers advised her to go to Maine Medical Center. When she agreed, they drove her there.
