12/22 at 6:12 p.m. Frederick R. Dyer, 41, of Longwoods Road, was arrested on Earle Street by Officer Stephen Hamilton on a warrant.

12/12 at 12:43 a.m. William W. Langan, 19, of Omaha, Neb., was issued a summons on Route 1 by Officer Lucas Hallett on charges of criminal mischief, failure to report an accident and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident.

12/14 at 9:56 a.m. Tara N. Gassett, 30, of Main Street, South Portland, was issued a summons on Blueberry Lane on a charge of attaching false plates.

12/14 at 4:59 p.m. Robert Owens, 44, of Hunter Way, was issued a summons on Hunter Way by Officer Kerry Warner on charges of failure to report an accident and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident.

12/16 at 9:03 a.m. A dead deer was reported on the side of the road on Kimball Way. The caller reportedly took the deer to eat it.

Well, that’s very shellfish

12/18 at 10:50 p.m. On a routine patrol, a police officer discovered someone had dumped a large pile of cooked lobster shells in the middle of the Town Landing parking lot. There was no indication where the shells came from.
