7/29 at 3:35 p.m. Norman Thompson, 36, of Cumberland Avenue, Portland, was arrested by Detective Wayne Geyer and charged with burglary.
7/31 at 8:40 p.m. Susan Jones, 43, of Hadlock Road, Falmouth, was arrested by Officer George Savidge and charged with operating under the influence.

7/27 at 1:45 a.m. Jessica Berry, 23, of Hillside Avenue, Falmouth, was issued a summons by Officer Kevin Conger Jr. on a charge of theft.
7/29 at 6:53 p.m. Kyle Robbins, 21, of Brook Road, Falmouth, was issued a summons by Detective Wayne Geyer on a charge of theft.
7/30 at 3:03 p.m. Paul Orciani, 25, of St. John Street, Portland, was issued a summons by Officer Robert Susi on a charge of sale and use of drug paraphernalia.
7/30 at 3:03 p.m. Timothy Markley Jr., 25, of Greenleaf Street, Portland, was issued a summons by Officer Robert Susi on a charge of possession of marijuana.
Outfoxed
7/25 at 12:07 p.m. Police were called to White Rock Drive because a fox was lying in a resident’s back yard. An officer threw a tennis ball at the fox, causing him to run off into the woods.
Slow and steady
7/27 at 2:25 p.m. Police stopped and rerouted traffic on Blackstrap Road for several minutes so that a turtle could cross the street.
Too much T.V.
7/29 at 1:24 a.m. A resident of Old Powerhouse Road called police to report she had turned her T.V. on before she left her house but it was turned off when she returned. Police searched the house but found nothing amiss.
