Summonses

8/12 at 2:30 p.m. Kelcey Hart, 29, of Sebago, was issued a summons by Lt. John Kilbride on a charge of operating while license is suspended or revoked.

Besotted, befuddled and be-gone

8/8 at 5:26 a.m. A Pasture Way woman was awakened by her dog barking. She got up and discovered two intoxicated males standing on her front porch. She tried talking to them through the door but they did not speak English. She notified police when they continued to ring her doorbell and knock on her door. The responding officers gave the two men a ride to the Portland Police Department.

No time to take the donuts

8/8 at 11:57 p.m. A burglar seeking a sweet reward got his just desserts when an alarm scared him out of the European Bakery before he had time to grab anything. When police responded to the alarm, they discovered the front door unlocked and the screen removed from an open window with a ladder next to the window. Nothing appeared to be missing.

Island girls

8/11 at 1:10 a.m.  The guard to Mackworth Island reported seeing two females in their late teens on the property by the dorm. They told him they had been there for a while and were heading back to their vehicles on the mainland. When police investigated, the girls had left.

8/8 at 9:20 a.m. Fire alarm, Woodville Road.

8/12 at 9:36 a.m. Fire alarm, Kilborn Way.

8/12 at 2:27 p.m. Motor vehicle crash, I-295.
