Summonses

4/12 at 8 a.m. Robert Lafreniere, 63, of McKinley Road, was issued a summons by Officer Kenneth Walberg on a charge of keeping a dangerous dog.

Working late

4/13 at 8:48 p.m. An officer responding to a noise complaint on Leighton Road found a maintenance crew using leaf blowers to clean a parking lot. They were just finishing their work for the night when police arrived.

Noisy neighbors

4/14 at7:42 p.m. A Legion Road resident called police to report his downstairs neighbor was yelling. The resident of the basement apartment told police he shouted because was fed up with the noise from above. Both residents agreed to keep the noise level down.

Driver saves the day

4/18 at 6:58 a.m. The Falmouth Fire Department responded to a report of a fire in a garbage truck in the parking lot of TD Bank on Gray Road. The garbage was dumped in the parking lot and the truck driven away from the burning pile. The fire was quickly extinguished and no one was injured. Deputy Chief Tom Martelle commended the truck driver for pulling into an empty parking lot as soon as he spotted smoke. Pine Tree Waste Inc. sent another truck and a bucket loader to clean up the garbage.

4/16 at 10:52 p.m. Vehicle accident with injuries on Interstate 295.

4/17 at 2:26 p.m. Woods or brush fire on Field Road.

4/18 at 6:58 a.m. Vehicle fire on Gray Road.

4/18 at 4:42 p.m. Hazardous materials call on Blackstrap Road.

4/18 at 7:36 p.m. Unattended, unpermitted burn on Mountain Road.
