4/11 at 2:30 p.m. Donald McInnis, 45, of Smith Street, Portland, was arrested on Eugene Street by Officer Steve Townsend on an outstanding warrant from another agency.


3/31 at 1:13 p.m. A 14-year-old male, of Avon Place, Portland, was issued a summons at the West School on Middle Road by Officer Daniel Austin on a charge of assault.

Stealin’ in the rain

4/7-8 Police received six reports of motor vehicle burglaries on the western side of town. In most cases, a small amount of change was taken. In one case, the thief also took an umbrella – a practical acquisition, as it was raining at the time, said Lt. John Kilbride.

4/4 at 3:08 p.m. Unpermitted fire on Town Landing Road.

4/8 at 12:22 a.m. Vehicle crash with injury on Interstate 295.

4/8 at 7:16 p.m. Oven fire on Field Road.

4/8 at 9:36 p.m. Report of propane leak on Brookside Drive.
