Arrests

4/6 at 12 p.m. Zachery Karantza, 25, of Shady Lane, Windham, was arrested on Blackstrap Road by Officer Dennis Ryder on outstanding warrant from another  agency.

Summonses

2/14 at 1:49 p.m. Patrick Horgan, 18, of Wilshore Way, was issued a summons on Gray Road by Officer Stephen Hamilton on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking.

4/11 at 12:18 a.m. Matthew Welch, 20, of Empire Road, Poland, was issued a summons on Gray Road by Officer Stephen Hamilton on a charge of possession of marijuana.

4/11 at 12:18 a.m. Kayla Ray, 18, of Penney Road, New Gloucester, was issued a summons on Gray Road by Officer Stephen Hamilton on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Batter up

4/4 at 2:12 a.m. Police were called on a report of a male hitting a stop sign with a baseball bat at the corner of Pleasant Hill and Knight Hill roads. Police advised the man to move along. The sign was not damaged.

Midday theft

4/7 at 2:04 p.m. The owners of a home on Hurricane Road came home to discover their home had been broken into and television stolen. Police said the burglars had used forced entry to get inside. The case is under investigation. No other homes in the neighborhood were reported burglarized

Wild, wild Wal-Mart

4/7 at 9:22 p.m. A man in a cowboy hat walked into Wal-Mart with a holstered gun visible. Although patrons called the police, the store’s manager told police he did not have an issue with the man since he was not causing a disturbance. No police action was taken.

4/6 at 8:38 p.m. Fire on Riverside Drive.

4/8 at 7:24 p.m. Carbon monoxide alarm on Starlight Way.

4/9 at 1:24 a.m. Fire alarm on Squidere Lane.

4/9 at 11:17 a.m. Vehicle fire at Gray Road and Marston Street.

4/9 at 7:46 p.m. Fire on Casco Terrace.
