At the Region 1 championships in Pennsylvania, MPS went 1-0-2 in pool play, but missed qualifying for the playoff round. Wuesthoff had two goals in the tournament, his 20th and 21st of the spring. Winkeler recorded a 2-0 win in the opener against a team from Staten Island (N.Y.). He only allowed three goals during the regional tournament.
