FALMOUTH — The town will hold a public form regarding regulations for pets on public lands on Monday, June 27, in the Lunt Auditorium on Lunt Road beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The recommendations are from the Land Management and Acquisitions Committee and the Parks and and Community Programs Advisory Committee in response to public input from a January public forum. The consensus at that meeting was more must be done about pet sanitation, informing pet owners of existing rules, and reducing pet conflicts at trail heads.
Those attending the meeting will have the chance to comment on the proposals, which will then be reviewed by both committees before being sent to the Town Council for consideration.
