FALMOUTH — Paving on Route 100 began this week and is expected to last until the middle of the month, according to the Maine Department of Transportation.

The paving will be less than half a mile north of the junction of Falmouth Road, Gray Road and Mountain Road, extending for one mile. The project ends less than a mile north of the junction of Route 100 and Eastern Avenue.

Motorists may experience slight delays because of alternating one-way traffic that will be controlled by flaggers.
