The A’s beat the Cubs in a thrilling finale of the Falmouth Little League baseball season earlier this month. The Cubs built a 9-3 lead, but the A’s rallied with six runs in the fifth to tie the game, which ultimately went to extra innings. In the seventh, the Cubs scored three times, but the A’s rallied once more in the bottom half with four runs to earn a 13-12 victory. Nate Rogers had a game-tying double and Ethan Livingood, who earned the win in relief, drove in the winning run with a sacrifice fly to score Brady Douglas.
