FALMOUTH — A local art gallery is looking for new and emerging artists to help celebrate its 10th anniversary.
Elizabeth Moss Galleries, at the Falmouth Shopping Center, 251 U.S. Route 1, is holding a contest for new artists. Two winners will be featured in a gallery exhibition this summer and in a half-page advertisement in Down East magazine.
The deadline for submission is Friday, May 9 at noon. Registration is available at http://conta.cc/1d7riyx. Accepted mediums are painting, sculpture, textile, or photographic arts.
Each submission will be reviewed by Moss, and she will provide “constructive feedback on their work,” according to a news release. The candidates will be narrowed to a field of 10, each of whom will be interviewed by Moss.
