FALMOUTH — The Falmouth Food Pantry will serve furloughed government employees during the continuing shutdown even if the employees are from outside the pantry’s normal service area.

All federal employees must provide is proof of employment.

The pantry is at Town Hall, 271 Falmouth Road, and is open the first and third Mondays of the month, 9-11 a.m.; the second, third and fourth Tuesdays, 9:30-11:30 a.m., and the second, third and fourth Thursdays, 4:30-6:30 p.m.

The pantry is not open on major holidays or school snow days.

Donations of food and other supplies may be made at the food pantry or in Town Hall or Falmouth Memorial Library during regular business hours. Checks may be made out to Falmouth Food Pantry, 271 Falmouth Road, Falmouth, ME 04105.
