FALMOUTH — The town continues to celebrate its 300th anniversary with special events this fall, including an annual Fire & EMS Open House from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, Oct. 13.

Throughout the month of October the Falmouth Memorial Library is collecting hand-knit and store-bought hats and mittens to benefit the local food pantry as part of the Donate 300 challenge. Knitting kits are available at the library.

The Falmouth Historical Society will hold its annual meeting at Town Hall at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, and the Falmouth Congregational Church will host a community supper from 4:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, featuring a roast turkey dinner with all the fixings. The Falmouth Police Department will hold its annual Open House from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27.
