FALMOUTH — The Plummer-Motz/Lunt schools Farewell Festival and parade will result in some traffic disruption this weekend.

The parade is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, and will result in the closure of Lunt, Depot and Middle roads from 9:15 a.m. to about 10 a.m.

The parade will assemble at Village Park at 9 a.m. and will proceed out Hat Trick Drive and up Lunt Road to the schools. All of Lunt and Depot roads from Hat Trick Drive to the library will be closed.

Parking will be limited to one side along Lunt and Middle roads for the duration of all other events, which begin Friday, June 3, at 5 p.m. with an evening picnic on the playground between the two school buildings.

The parade on Saturday will kick off a full day of events, including tethered hot air balloon rides from 8:30-11 a.m. at the high school.

Attendees are encouraged to park at the high school and utilize a free shuttle. More information and ticket sales can be found at www.tinyurl.com/farewellfestival.
