FALMOUTH — In their first caucus since the election, town councilors Monday unanimously elected Councilor Teresa Pierce chairwoman and Councilor Faith Varney vice chairwoman.
Committee appointments were Varney and Councilors Bonny Rodden and Will Armitage, Finance; Councilors Tony Payne, Fred Chase and Chris Orestis, Appointments; Rodden, Armitage and Payne, Community Development, and Chase, Varney and Orestis, Ordinance.
Pierce will serve on the METRO Coalition and Rodden on the METRO board of directors, both with Town Manager Nathan Poore.
Armitage will be liaison to the Maine Municipal Association, also with Poore. Orestis will attend Greater Portland Council of Governments meetings with Poore and Payne will be liaison to the Cumberland County budget committee.
