FALMOUTH — A concert to benefit the nonprofit organization Furniture Friends will take place outside Falmouth High School on Saturday, May 30, from 7-10 p.m.

The concert, organized by the Falmouth High School Service Club, will feature Glen DaCosta, a Falmouth musician who played with Bob Marley and the Wailers. Other acts will include student and faculty bands. Mainely Burgers and Mainely Treats food trucks will be at the concert.

There is a suggested donation of $5 for individuals, and $20 for families of four or more. There will be a raffle, too, and all proceeds will go to help Furniture Friends purchase a pickup truck big enough to deliver mattresses.

Attendees should bring blankets or lawn chairs to sit on. In the event of rain, the concert will be moved into the high school cafeteria. A Furniture Friends truck will be on site accepting furniture donations.
