Falmouth junior Jack Simonds goes up for a basket during Friday’s 66-55 win over Bonny Eagle in the Red Claws Christmas Tournament at the Portland Expo. The previous night, the Yachtsmen rallied from a 12-point deficit to beat Portland, 55-52, meaning Falmouth made a pair of huge statements against potential playoff foes (see theforecaster.net for both game stories). The Greely and Yarmouth boys and Falmouth and Greely girls also participated in the annual tournament.
