Just before noon on opening day last Sunday in Cumberland, the midway is all folks and food at the Cumberland County Fair. Summer-like weather welcomed people to the 140th annual celebration, which continues through Saturday, Oct. 1.
A giant pumpkin is gently placed on a scale Sunday morning during the pumpkin weigh-in at the Cumberland County Fair. This turned out to be the winning entry, at 1,050 pounds.
