The fall of 2009 was sensational and triumphant for Mid-Coast sports teams.

Brunswick, Morse and Mt. Ararat were factors in football, soccer, field hockey, cross country and golf.

On the gridiron, Brunswick made it to the Eastern A Final, while Morse won a playoff game as well.

The Brunswick girls’ soccer team won Class A for the first time since 2004. The boys’ squad also reached the state final, but lost to Scarborough.

Mt. Ararat made it to the field hockey playoffs

On the trails, all three schools had runners dominate.

Brunswick qualified for the golf state match.

It’s time to turn our attention to winter, but let’s give the fall a fond farewell on the way out.
