FALMOUTH — Motorists can expect intermittent traffic stops of up to 20 minutes on the northboudn Maine Turnpike at Mile 56 in Falmouth on Monday night.
The stops are for repairs to one of the bridges over the Piscataqua River, according to the Maine Turnpike Authority.
Stoppages will last anywhere from five to 20 minutes, and will occur between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. Tuesday morning. All work is weather dependent, MTA said. Tuesday, Dec. 9, is scheduled as an alternate date in the event of inclement weather.
