PORTLAND — Traffic delays are expected on the Martin’s Point Bridge Wednesday, Oct. 7, through Friday, Oct. 9, while construction crews prepare to pave the roadway.
Traffic in both directions will be restricted to one alternating lane of traffic from 6:30 a.m.-5 p.m., and delays might extend into next week, according to project spokeswoman Carol Morris.
Construction of the new bridge between Portland and Falmouth is expected to conclude by the end of the year.
