BRUNSWICK — Eva G. Racine, 98,  died Oct. 16 at her residence.

She was born in Brunswick on July 6, 1915, the daughter of Michel and Lea Guertin Racine. She attended Brunswick schools and was a 1934 graduate of Brunswick High School.

For 42 years, starting in high school, Racine worked at Brunswick Savings, retiring in 1976 as a vice president.

She was a longtime member of St. Charles Borromeo Church and was a member of the Evergreens.

She is survived by four sisters, Anne M. Racine, of Brunswick, Lorraine L. Johnson, of West Bath, Mae Belle R. Racine, of Brunswick, and Yvette Chaney, of Berwick; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial was held Oct. 23 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Brunswick. Private interment was in St. John’s Cemetery, Brunswick.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Church, 132 McKeen St., Brunswick, ME 04011. Arrangements are by Stetson’s Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick.
