BATH — Ella Priestly, 90, died Sept. 16 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.

On July 31, 1921, she was born in Sanford, a daughter of John and Ivy (Mitchell) McCullough.

She was raised at the Shaker Village in New Gloucester, and later moved to Bath, where she managed Mary’s Restaurant and drove a taxi for many years.

In her free time she enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her husband, John Priestly, and two sisters, Mary Picken and Anne Bross.

Surviving are her son, Dennis J. Lewis, Sr., of Bath, and daughter, Diane L. Wagner and her husband Kenneth of Bath; six grandchildren, Bridget Reno, Herb Reno, Ivy Younkman, Kenny Wagner, Dennis Lewis, Jr., and Elaine Lewis; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; niece Kathy Williams and many other nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were held earlier this week.
