CUMBERLAND — Edwin R. Hull, 65, formerly of Bethlehem and Seymour, Conn., died Nov. 29 in Portland.

On Feb. 23, 1945, he was born in New Brunswick, N.J., son of Ralph E. and Janice A. (Groesbeck) Hull.

During the Vietnam War, he served in the U.S. Air Force and later served 10 years in the U.S. Navy.

Over the years he worked in various fields, including newspapers, firearms, and most recently, in automotive sales.

An avid hunter who was an expert in sporting firearms, he also enjoyed freshwater fishing and reading.

Survivors include his sister, Sandra Porter and her husband Glenn, with whom he lived in Cumberland Foreside; David E. Hull of Gaylordsville, Conn., and Franklyn E. Hull and his wife Jane of Seymour, Conn.; an aunt, Doris Groesbeck of Basking Ridge, N.J.; a cousin, Betsy Lobdell of Seymour; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were held in Seymour, Conn.
