BATH — Edna May Bolduc, 83, died Feb. 1 at Winship Green Nursing Home.
She was born in Auburn on Sept. 26, 1926, the daughter of Henry A. and Hazel (Pray) Johnson and attended Auburn schools.
On July 18, 1945, she married Fernand O. Bolduc in Auburn.
Soon after getting married, they moved to Massachusetts, settling down in Holbrook to raise a family.
For many years she worked at Stride Rite Shoe manufacturing plant in Massachusetts.
In 1975 they returned to Maine to retire in Lewiston.
After the death of her husband in 2001, she moved to Bath to be closer to her son.
A loving mom who would do anything for her family, she looked forward to holidays and gatherings to see her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Fernand, in January 2001, a sister, Shirley Johnson, and a brother, Gerald Johnson.
Surviving are her son Jeffrey Bolduc and his wife Donnalee of Woolwich; two grandchildren, Lynda Hicks and her husband Paul of Newtonville Mass., and Stephanie Burke of Uxbridge, Mass.; three great-grandchildren, Shan Hicks and Gavin Hicks of Newtonville, Mass., and Kevin Burke of Uxbridge, Mass.
At her request, there will be no services at this time. A graveside service will be held in the spring.
