SOUTH PORTLAND — Police arrested three people this week after after what was described as a drug deal gone bad.

The arrests were made after police responded around 11 p.m. Tuesday to the Days Inn on Maine Mall road, where they found Abdallah Dud, 29, of Saco, “bleeding profusely from the head” from a severe laceration, according to a May 4 department press release.

Dud told police he was assaulted by two men, who were accompanied by a woman. Those three suspects were arrested about an hour later, after a traffic stop on the Interstate 295 on-ramp near Broadway.

Kokou Noulilo, 24, of Lewiston, and Breanna Lee, 25, of Lewiston, were arrested after an officer allegedly found “several thousand dollars” in the car. The money was later determined to have been taken from Dud’s hotel room, where eight grams of crack cocaine were also discovered. According to the press release, “this was essentially a drug rip-off.”

Noulilo and Lee were both charged with robbery, a Class A crime, and aggravated assault, a Class B crime. Both were also charged with violating conditions of release.

Dud was arrested after his release from the hospital and charged with trafficking in scheduled drugs, a Class B crime, and violating conditions of release.
