BATH — Two 23-year-old Dresden residents are charged with conspiring to rob the Walgreens pharmacy on State Road, according to an announcement from U.S. Attorney Thomas Delehanty II.

The robbery occurred June 14. Nicholas Alexander was arrested the next day, and Devin Alexander on June 17. During the robbery, a note handed to a pharmacist demanded Oxycodone and threatened the employee, according to a criminal complaint.

Nicholas Alexander allegedly was given a bag that contained 11 bottles of Oxycodone tablets.

If they are convicted, the two could serve up to 20 years behind bars, be fined up to $250,000 and ordered to make restitution.

Bath police are conducting the investigation along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.
