FREEPORT — Traffic patterns around the L. L. Bean retail campus will change starting Monday, June 22.

Bean spokeswoman Carolyn Beem said closures include the base of Morse Street and the Puffin Parking lot between Abercrombie & Fitch and the L.L. Bean Bike, Boat & Ski Shop. Beem said Nathan Nye Street and Justin’s Way will become two-way streets to allow easier access to Main Street and downtown stores.

“These changes will help redirect traffic through the L.L. Bean lots and to the newly opened parking garage across the street at the Village Station,” Beem said.

In the coming months, Beem said, the parking lots behind Bean’s will be converted into green space.
