BRUNSWICK — Doris Lane Dunham, 88, died April 18 at Parkview Medical Center.

She was born in Wellington on Sept. 11, 1920, the daughter of Calvin H. and Grace (Pike) Lane and attended Harmony High School.

She moved to Brunswick in 1942 and worked for various employers over the years, including the Hotel Eagle, the Times Record, and The Highlands in Topsham.

Her interests included gardening, knitting, and card games. After retirement, she enjoyed volunteering for Neighbors.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest “Nate” Dunham in 1976.

She is survived by a son, Howard E. Spaulding of Tewksbury, Mass.; grandchildren, Mark, Thomas and Michael; six great grandchildren; three step grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren; and special friends, George Repp, Scarlett Emery and Terry Royer.

A memorial service was held earlier this week.

Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church, 320 Church Road, Brunswick, ME 04011.
