BRUNSWICK — Doris A. White, 91, died Oct. 9 at Parkview Adventist Medical Center.
On Feb. 13, 1918, she was born in Bath, the daughter of Albert G. and Emily Gaudet Losier.
She graduated from Morse High School in 1936.
On May 29, 1942, she married Horatio White and made their home on Durham Road in Brunswick, where she lovingly raised four children.
An avid golfer, she was a longtime member of the Brunswick Golf Club, the Women’s League and the Couples League. Her other hobbies included playing cards and sewing.
She was predeceased by her son Lee.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Horatio White of Brunswick; three children, Gary White and his wife Pamela of Boothbay Harbor, Janice Getchell and her husband William of Durham, N.H., and Sheila Sellers and her husband Donald of Rye, N.H.; brother Martin Losier and his wife Virginia of Kittery; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering was held earlier this week.
