CUMBERLAND — State Rep. Dale Denno, D-Cumberland, on Feb. 1 announced his intention to seek a second term representing House District 45.

“It has been the highest honor of my life to serve the citizens of Cumberland and part of Gray in the Maine House,” Denno said in a statement. “I have worked hard to represent the district with honor, and I hope that the voters will give me their confidence for another term.”

Denno has lived in Cumberland nearly 35 years, served on the School Administrative District 51 Board of Directors from 1991-1997, and was its chairman in 1995-1996.

He retired in 2013 from the Maine Department of Health and Human Services, where he was director of the Office for Family Independence.
