BRUNSWICK — Denise D. Raymond, 72, died Nov. 14 at her Brunswick home.
On March 3, 1937, she was born in Brunswick, a daughter of Denis and Laura (Normand) Levesque.
She attended local schools and worked at area shoe shops, including Auerbach Shoe and Eastland Shoe.
She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church, a member of 55 Plus and the Evergreens Club.
Her interests included playing Bingo, watching sports, and spending time with her cousin and best friend, Terry Dunning.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donald O. Raymond, in 2006.
Surviving are five children, Paul R. Raymond and his wife Karen of Topsham, Glenn J. Raymond and his wife Brenda of South Portland, Claire A. Marshall and her husband Ian of Harpswell, Linda J. Raymond of Topsham, and Gail M. Staples and her husband Wayne of Brunswick; two brothers, Raoul Levesque of Topsham, and Jim Parrish of Florida and a sister, Cecilia Butryn of Methuen, Mass.; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial services were held earlier this week.
Arrangements are by Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal St., Brunswick.
