Deering senior baseball standout Nick Colucci (with coach Mark Sutton by his side) signs his National Letter of Intent Friday afternoon to attend and play ball at Boston College. Colucci, a member of the perennial powerhouse Rams since late in his freshman year and a three-year varsity basketball player, plans to attend the College of Arts and Sciences, but isn’t ready to declare a major.
“I was recruited by the new coach,” said Colucci. “I fit right in with that environment.”
“I wish I had Nick’s skills,” said Sutton. “He has a great attitude. He works hard. He has great hands and great skills.”
