PORTLAND — The city and Hour Exchange Portland are sponsoring a beautification and clean-up day Saturday, Sept. 11, at Deering Oaks Park.
The event is part of the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance.
Volunteers can meet at the park bandstand at 1:30 p.m. The clean-up goes until 4 p.m. People are encouraged to wear old clothes and bring gloves. Refreshments and entertainment will be provided.
