SOUTH PORTLAND — Deborah Ann Berry, 76, of South Portland, died July 18 at Maine Medical Center after a yearlong battle with cancer, with her loving family by her side.

She was born March 23, 1937, in Cornish, a daughter of John M. and Retha V. Seelye. She was educated in Cornish and was a 1954 graduate of Fryeburg Academy.

Berry worked for Tower Publishing and Seavey Printers, and she retired from Oakhurst Dairy as an office support person in 2002.

She enjoyed watching game shows, talent shows, and especially the Red Sox on television, and she kept in touch with her family and friends through email and Facebook. She always enjoyed family celebrations, especially the Fourth of July and Christmas, and the family always looked forward to her potato salad.

She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Maynard “Jack” Arthur Seelye.

She is survived by three sons, Daniel T. Greene and his wife Donna, of South Portland, David B. Greene and his wife Nancy, of Gray, and Timothy M. Greene and his wife Karen, of Acton; two sisters, Vivian R. Dustin, of Cornish, and Ruth E. Smith, of Phoenix, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held Tuesday at Riverside Cemetery, in Cornish.
