SCARBOROUGH — Dead River Co. announced this week that it has partnered with the United Way of Greater Portland to match donations collected from people and businesses to provide fuel assistance to needy people in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.
The program, called Share the Warmth, will match every donation made to the United Way of Greater Portland, up to a total of $100,000.
Those in need of fuel assistance should call 2-1-1 for more information.
