PORTLAND — Darrell Lloyd MacNinch, 70, of Portland, died March 18 at his home.
He was born July 29, 1944, in Waterboro, the son of Myron and Joy (Prince) MacNinch.
During the 1960s, Darrell served his country as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps. After leaving the corps, he worked for many years as a carpenter. In his free time, he enjoyed repairing cars, fishing, and collecting and constructing model boats.
MacNinch was predeceased by his parents and his siblings. He is survived by his partner of 32 years, Sandra Willette; her children, Linda, Michael, Peter, Jenny and Rachel; his niece, Jeanie; and many other nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
