Falmouth second-graders perform a dance to the song “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” during a morning expedition to Maine State Ballet on June 1. They had the opportunity to learn dance moves, try on ballet costumes, learn about the history of dance and sing along to famous show tunes with professional ballet teachers. The company often includes local students in its annual production of “The Nutcracker” at Merrill Auditorium every year.
