Cumberland’s Katie Keough recently won the women’s snowboard giant slalom national championship at the 2012 United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard National Championships at Sunday River. Keough, racing for the University of Maine Farmington, defended the 2011 title she won at Sun Valley, Idaho by posting the fastest time in the first run and tuning in a top time in the second run. Keough ends her collegiate snowboard career as a two time National Champion and a five time All American.
